DOYLE GROUP

COMMERCIAL + RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS | SYDNEY

Shane Doyle, of Doyle Electrical, believes a strong eye for detail and a passion for design is key to being a great electrical contractor. Doyle Electrical provide electrical services throughout Sydney for high-end renovations and new builds, both residential and commercial. Shane and the team like to ensure they’re always up to date with the latest in the industry, meaning ZETR was a go-to product to present to his clients.

Doyle Electrical lives with the motto that “good” is fine, but “great”, “perfect” and “exceptional” is so much better. We agree. ZETR caught up with Shane to chat about his love at first sight experience with our product.

Dream project or architect you want to work with?

Iker Ochotorena or Magnus Strom from Strom Architects

What was your experience working with the ZETR range and why did you select it for your project?

When I first came across the ZETR range it was love at first sight. From a design and aesthetic point of view. The range is obviously visually appealing and oozes style and sophistication. The products are clean and minimal but have such a big impact on the overall design of the space. I then learned that the ZETR range is Australian designed and owned which was another huge plus. I love supporting other Australian businesses.

What was the client's feedback?

Clients are excited that this gap in the market for stylish, minimalist and clean outlets which complement their design are available. In the past I’ve seen a lot of clients making impractical decisions like hiding power outlets in cupboards because they don’t want to overthrow the incredible marble in their kitchen or the feature bed frame in their master bedroom. With the ZETR range you can have practicality without compromising on style.

Any installation tips?

A vital part of the preparation of any install is to install that other tradespersons, such as tilers, gyprockers, your builder are familiar with the product, where you are going to be placing and what you need in that space. I think particularly for ZETR products it’s vital that other tradespersons understand the ascetic of the ZETR range and that they’re much more than just a utility product. They’re a feature which compliment and even enhance the overall design of a build. This will ensure their approach to the space around the products

What do you want to see from ZETR next?

I’m a minimalist so I feel less is more. For me the current colour and material choice provides an option for any design style. Lines, structures and shapes are huge part of architectural and interior design so to to see the shape of the outlets expand and evolve would be really exciting. That being said, I love the signature curve of the ZETR range which is what makes it so unique.
